Choking on my coffee Chortle, chuckle and guffaw. Am I allowed to say you're amongst my favourite posters?
Re: Choking on my coffee No, because then under Article XIX sub clause (a) of the BBS rules, once you've stated an opinion on someone you then are compelled to hold that opinion for all time - should they do something to change your opinion, either good or bad, then any change of opinion counts as feeble minded fickleness and you are no better than a Sheff wed fan etc.
I love it I'll wag my finger at the screen when anyone breaches said rule. If they continue, this will develop into angrily shaking my fist. If that doesn't sort out the feeble ramblings of folk wishing to be opened minded, then nothing will.
Re: I love it Well, we like Keith Hill. At some stage he'll leave Oakwell, either to get a 'better' job because he's done well, in which case we're allowed to ram it mercilessly up those who don't like him cos we were right all along....or he'll get sacked cos we're doing crap, at which point we will get that rammed mercilessly up us as we were just sycophants, couldn't see what was REALLY happening and those not keen on him were right all along. It's all about winning the bbs.
I agree with the point you're making It must be wonderful to be so correct on absolutely every issue that open & honest debate simply isn't required. The more I learn about any subject, the more I realise I don't know.
Re: So an 83% approval rating Bang on, Keef if you're reading today, have a gander at the Poll. Its obvious from recent interviews you have been scanning this board.
Re: So an 83% approval rating Overall I like him. I'm baffled at times by his team selection.substitutions, but that's usually the case who ever the manager is. I think he has an eye for lower league players that he can bring in and improve, and it's what's needed on the limited budget we have. I wish he'd stop talking up the opposition every game but perhaps, as my mate said at the game last week, maybe that's his way off taking the pressure of his team, and putting hem as underdogs eager to prove a point every match.
