RE: Nothing wrong with that mate

You didn't fall out with an ex-player who had played in the World Cup did you?
Or was it with an ex- Sheffield United player?

Barnsley boys 1978-1983. Besides me, other child prodigies included Mark Ogley and David Hirst. I went on to achieve legendary status in the San Sebastian 5-a-side Sunday afternoon beach division.

    I agree...

When it comes to stating an opinion in the vein of so-and-so can cross a ball better than so-and-so or some international player is a better player than a conference player - relative opinions if you like...

But when it comes to people calling professional, even semi-professional, footballers crap or rubbish, especially coming from twenty-stone, beer swilling lard-arses who struggle to get up the East Stand gangways, I find it a bit ironic.

That's all I meant when I said I don't join in the booing etcetera - not that we shouldn't have opinions...

Played Junior Sunday League from age 8-17

Represented Barnsley Boys for a few years in the middle of that, alongside Nicky Wroe and Ryan Laight.

Just play five-aside for fun now.
