    Nope. Definitely a towering header.

Three up after 15 minutes and it could have been seven.

But one thing that team had - in addition to brilliant players played in the correct position and a great team spirit - was character. Didn’t let their heads drop, nor throw in the towel.

Wasn't there a Fulham game round that era that provoked a "Spinks Out" chant from a small group?
Seem to recollect it was cos they put a steel fence in down the back of the main stand.

Not as I remember it. 3 shots at goal 3-0 up In the first 15 minutes. Don't think they had a sniff after that.

One of the best games I’ve ever seen. Malcolm McDonald was their manager and they lined up for the kick off all across the line. We were three down in no time.

Yes, I was there and can go further back to one of my 1st matches at Oakwell Division 2 1957 Barnsley v Fulham I remember it because Johny Haynes and old chinny Jimmy Hill played but for the life of me cannot remember the score someone somewhere will be able to look it up and tell me. That same year we hammered Huddersfield Away something like 6-0 I went on the bus with mi granddad. Happy days
