Home to Barrow, August 1968. He opened the scoring after 2 or 3 minutes, but we still managed to grab a 3-2 defeat!!!

It could have been any of the team who scored at home in November 1951

But I was only 6 months old. My late Mother told me before she died.</p>

All the family use to go together we stood on the Cop. Some of my cousins who were in that Family group and are now in their 70s still go to matches.

    Eddie O'Hara...

away at Scnuthorpe in the cup third round. Reds losing 2-0 wit five minutes to go. O'Hara scored on 85 minutes and Byrne equalised on 88. Thrilling replay at Oakwell which the Reds won 3-2 after extra time.

That wasn't my first match, which was the 0-3 cup defeat at Oakwell by Everton.
