Me too - They should ban people smoking around entrances to supermarkets too. There's always so old fecker smoking outside Morrisons waiting for a taxi.

    Oh aye!

    Got a lung fill yesterday.

Strange - as I don't recall that happening prior to the smoking ban yet people couldn't smoke in the supermarket!

Smoking is the dirtiest habit there is. nt

Smelly , how can anyone actually want to fill their lungs with poisonous gases?
If someone is smoking near you , then your clothes stink of smoke.
I would stop the NHS treating smokers, plus alcholics and druggies,

RE: mmm where do you start, burden to the NHS,non smoking tax payers for one

It's nice to see people banging on about the costs of treating smoking related illness to the NHS. Tobacco taxation raises revenue of £9.5bn compared with the £1.7bn spent on treating smoking-related illness.

Far more is spent by the NHS on drink related illnesses and drink fuelled violence and stupidity.
Look at the media coverage of late, relating to obesity studies, look at the media coverage of late relating to drinkling problems, here lies the next target for the liberal do gooders.

So all of you fat drinkers had better watch out, you are going to get hammered by tax.

By the way, I don't smoke - just defending the underdog! :D
