RE: I was in the Centenary Stand Row 7 seats 42

I was in the Centenary row 5. At the opposite end though next the cop. There weren't many Reds fans around me...or didn't appear to be.
Can't believe I managed to keep composed when Howard tucked away the winner. I just stood up and said unbelievable about 10 times. Although I think I'd revealed my allegience about a minute earlier by shouting..."that's a fecking pen!"

Me too, I jumped up when KO got clattered and again with the Pen!

All the lads in front of me were pi**ing themselves.

The KO foul was right in front of me and it did look nailed on. Wasn't 100% clear if it was in the box but it looked a clear foul. There were a few mouthy lads around us that wouldn't have appreciated us leaping up and down when we scored so I kept it low key. Didn't have any trouble though.

I keep telling my son of 11 how lucky he is to have witnessed Saturdays win and the playoff final he says their the best two days of his life. Bless!

Now tell me all seater stadiums aren't safer.

If these experiences being related had been on standing up terraces, the thugs would have been round our fans like flies round *****.

Obviously I would have preferred to have been in the thick of it but the sight of our fans when the winner went in was something to cherish. The cheer for the first goal seemed to go on for about 5 minutes as well. The whole stand erupted.
As I was in ear shot of the Kop a lot of the singing during the match was drowned out by the sound of the home fans but we certainly made up for it at the end. I walked down to the away end at the end of the game to take some snaps and I've never heard noise like it.
