Do any of the geeks on here know what 'type' of football we should expect under Hasselbaink? What's his style of play?

A lot of talk about Warnock but it's less than 2 months since he announced his retirement. I think we had a very small window in which to appoint him, and we missed it for whatever reason.

After 42 years in management, Warnock retired citing it was the right time and that he wanted to spend more time with his wife and family. At the age of 73, and after many decades in the game, i think that's fair enough. He seems a man of his word, and I just can't see him turning round to his wife less than two months after announcing his retirement and telling her 'sorry love, couldn't stay away, cancel our plans together. I'm off to Barnsley for a new challenge.' I'm not even sure he'd be good for our club at this stage.

If Warnock really is available and willing to do the job within the prevailing parameters then they've got to go for him imho. If he isn't I'd be fine with Duff. Not keen on JFH at all and Ramsay just seems like the offspring of a threesome between Simon Davey, Lee Johnson and Adam Murray (and thus to be avoided at all costs - even if, as I suspect, his interview Powerpoints are snazzy).

so are we assuming duff, hasselbaink, ramsey, colin and mccarthy were 'the 5'?
with the exception of his first stint at Burton though, none of hasselbaink's manager stats come anywhere near what's needed for top 6, and his stats at Northampton and QPR are poor. this is probably the ball park we're in though, as it stands.
