Plummer wouldn't be a bad choice......there is a leak on the cistern in East Stand Lower tier and also some of the taps need replacing. Plummer would be good.
At a guess less than a million Homegrown players with a mixture of experience and a couple of well scouted foreign imports.
I didn't say appoint them though, did I? I gave three different duos with BFC connections, because that's what I'd like to see, someone with an affinity for the club. Cooper/Hignett - not doing a bad job at Hartlepool are they, won again today. Wilson/Redfearn - nowt needs saying. Hassell/Moore - no experience, but neither did Wilson or Clarke have any. Both were player managers. Third time lucky? I do not see an Holloway, Mowbray coming here. I don't think fans would welcome Slade etc, or give him time. We need to either stick with Flitcroft, even if it means relegation, or in my opinion, appoint someone with a BFC connection who the fans would be more likely to stick with even if we went down.
You might be well surprised who would be interested mate If the job came up I think there would be quite a good sized list of applicants.
Yes. And if that flicker stayed as that flicker I have no doubt we wouldn't be in this mess. Could we predict he would morph back into to that pillock? Not really after what we witnessed. But christ he really is writing his own sacking letter at the moment.
From 94 to 2000, we were spoilt. I recognised it at the time as a special period, but even more so now. Watching old video of that era serves to emphasise just how gash we are now. Our worst XI from that era would still beat this XI, and with ease.
But I also believe we have one of the best SQUADS we've had in a long time unfortunately flickers refusal to play some of them and sticking with others that are quite clearly not up to the task will ultimately be his downfall
RNL Digby Cywka Are good players who the manager wont consider and are better than most in the starting 11. Fox was/is a barmy signing we didnt need The none selection of Hassell us barmy Why was McNulty re-signed? Dawson Dagnall not good enough Why is Nyatanga still not close to a start? Why arent we playing the same tactics yhat did so well for us last season? Has the Stones money been spent?
With the budget Flitcroft has had available, no need to scrape the barrel we've a new board at the helm who have connections and influence, its not Don Rowing on bended knee anymore, I'd be very surprised if we aren't linked with some real top draw managers when the deed is done.
Re: With the budget Flitcroft has had available, no need to scrape the barrel Such as? Can't see any big name managers wanting to come here, we're just not a big enough club. Biggest we could hope for is probably Warnock and he won't be popular. Unless I'm missing some sarcasm in your post?
