He said he should be judged on results. Well a lot of the results were not good enough.
After the amount of players he has been allowed to sign, he should be able to put out a decent side every week.
Its not just the players, its how they are set up to playhe gives the impression he does not give a toss about some games and it does not matter if we lose, as long as we dont concede a lot. His substiitutions last year were bleeding crazy at times. All he did was take off a winger and put on another striker, thenby-pass midfield with long balls up to no-one, this tactic was used 99% of the time and VERY rarely worked. On the few occasions we played football in a passing style we lookes a half decent team, but we did not play that way often enough.

He still has a lot to prove , I hope he does , but I am not holding my breath.

I dislike him on a personal note too, but that is of no consequence.

RE: Stand well back and be ready to run

You have lost me mate, in my opinion he signed a lot of players and most of them were risks but we stayed up, we got a brilliant unforgettable F.A Cup run and we are now strengthening again this season. Lets hope we can get to 10th (ish) this season then look at strengthening again next year. You can't argue that although we have had some bad players we have also gained players of a quality far higher than we have had for a long time.
