The Landsdowne used to be the pub recommended to away fans & it most certainly was friendly - owned by a big City fan, Roger. I say used to be because the last I heard it was closed after Roger had moved on. There was a website for the Landsdowne so I'd check first if you intended going there. Loads of bars in City Centre and no probs at all without colours - will cost you £4 or so in a taxi to ground. Avoid the Grangetown & Canton pubs - not that there's much (if any tbh) bother these days, just that that's where most Cardiff fans drink and it only takes one...

Little tip for those going straight to the ground who fancy a pint. Assuming you're allowed out of the away compound (don't see any reason why not btw), there's a retail park opposite. Towards the left hand corner there's a Casino - free entry, no membership, reasonably priced beer, SKY sports on the screens, happy days! It's a 2 minute walk from the stadium & a hidden jewel ;)

Depends what time I get from work if I go for a pint. On a night game though, I'd definately use the Casino - saves the walk in from Canton which is the usual saturday-game haunt.

Better boozers on the opposite side of the street tbh, around/in the Brewery Quarter. The Prince is just a Wetherspoons tbh and Walkabout is Walkabout - you won't get in there with a pin badge or any kind of "casual" clothing btw.

The official club coach has around 13 - 14 booked on the other day. 17 was the total on the official coach down to Palace on that Tuesday night last year, might just beat that number this year!

Having said that, Swansea away in the cup this season, think around 30 were booked on as Courthouse and Hoyland Reds etc... weren't running coaches so could be the same this time round?
