    No it doesn't

What's the difference between paying game to game and getting a season ticket?

    Might just

Stay put. Had that seat since the Ponty was rebuilt.
You're too far left, Tina's too low, and Ian's too posh.
    Billy no mates - that's me. :'(

Good point, Should I announce my decisionon Sunday afternoon do you think?!

A full season of Prawn sandwiches every Saturday? There'll be no room for curries in the evening. :D

    Fancy forgetting your own daughter!

And it's not prawn sandwiches, it's pie and chips washed down with gallon after gallon of Foster's. And it's every other Saturday.

Apart from all that, your post was rather good - especially the Sunday afternoon bit. Just strapping my ribs up now in readiness.

    I didn't

I'm just not looking forward to the
    "she's coming with me"
    "she isn't" debate....

I think I might just buy the ticket anyway..... won't need to worry about taking an 8 year old in a pub anyway - now that my mates will be washing down their lunch somewhere more exclusive. (givinfinger)

Let's just get one thing clear

Why does my intended choice of accomodation for next season mean that I can't have a pre-match drink in the Courthouse? And you know I don't have lunch on Saturdays unless someone else pays for it.

And anyway she is a red - the debate, as you put it, doesn't apply. She has already made her choice.

First one for 9 years for son and me

Gave up my ST the season my son was born (21/11/98 - day we went to Sunderland and won - Ashley Ward scored and got sent off). He finally wants a season ticket, so it gives me an excuse to go as well.

    You mean .....

The "pouring lager froth over coat" story, followed by the "how many F words can you say in 10 seconds" competition?

Don't you worry I will be in the Courthouse pre-match next season, with or without assorted Alis.

Anyway, about this <strike>piss up</strike> test match?

    Sure it was lager froth?

Did I not dip the worlds most valuable jacket in a bucket of bleach, before throwing up on it, and then stamping a cigarette out on it?

Now there's a thought - Cowgirl fancy dress at the test match .... that would go down a treat.

Must have been looking the other way

Actually you used it instead of snow chains for about 50 miles becore it got caught up in a Sherman tank steering mechanism. While I was rescuing it from that I lost two fingers and bled all over the remains of the jacket. You then threw up at the sight of blood, completely covering the jacket, then the guy next to us used it as bog paper under the mistaken impression that it was a BNP manifesto. Not only that we then had to use it to snuff out that forest fire that had started in the bushes behind Oakwell, before finally pouring copious quantities of lager and red wine on it.

Despite your claim that "it will brush off when it dries" I don't think she was convinced.

Anyway, good idea with that cowboy thingy - get organising.

I now live in Newcastle, missed 7 home games (2 due to cup run) so 5 Tuesday games

The fixture list wasn't kind to me from the start, let alone 2 Saturday games getting put back to Tuesday nights, slight bonus Blackpool and Hull on tv, although both were bitterly poor games.

Went to 3 away games not including FA Cup

Anyway to cut a long story short my 16 home games worked out at £20.32 a match, which wasn't fantastic, but just beat paying on day, just.

Surely we can't have as many Tuesday home games again and won't repeat our cup exploits, so yeah i will be re-newing

p.s i spend £20 a time just getting back for matches on train,so that was price of season ticket again!!!!

Fookin things you do on a Saturday to follow a football team

    Brilliant

You question my loyalty even though I live over 200 miles away I still have a Season Ticket
I am almost certain to have one next year but I dont know if renew is the correct term because it may be in another Stand
Also there are 8 of us sit together - not sure how easy that will be to maintain

Not many can say for sure they will renew until some details are availlable. If we go for Wednesdayesque rises and I suddenly need to find over £600 I would think long and hard about renewing. I doubt we will though and assuming a £10 or £20 rise I guess I will - even though its now costing me over £60 in petrol per home game.

As someone who has supported the club for almost 40 years - stood in the paddock under the dark days of Steele and Iley in the 4th division watching us lose to Aldershot and Rochdale right up to the present day I think I qualify as stupidly loyal.
