Backing Flicker is a risk I wouldn't take. I think the more likely scenario is second season syndrome like we got with the Bury positivity sinking faster than a rock. Sacked by January.
Now that I've done that, I've just been looking and thinking - how does a treble work on 4 teams, does anyone know? I never thought about it when making the bet, but I suddenly just thought
Just done a bit of googling - its (obviously) any 3 of the 4 coming good returns me £1900 At E/W that means if 3 of them finish in top 2 I get my return, gotta be worth doing?
That's right, you have got 8 separate bets on. 1. Che/Car/Bar 2. Che/Bar/Por 3. Che/Car/Por 4. Car/Bar/Por Plus another 4 bets on the each way of each. If all win their league you get £1900 as all 8 bets win. If one finishes 2nd then the bets with that team as winner have lost but you still have the each way bets on that team. If one finishes outside the top 2 all the bets with that club are lost.
Aye, also I don't win if one wins and 2 others come 2nd - it's all place or all win I'm still reasonably confident of getting 3 winners or 3 2nd out of those 4 though
Just been thinking... Is there anything to stop you doing a treble with like chelsea, Cardiff, Pompey, then adding someone like Crawley to boost the odds?
If that's allowed, adding a massive outsider in the FA cup could end up bringing you millions from a tiny stake
For example, a 6 way treble on Chelsea, Cardiff, Pompey at 15/8, 7/1, 7/1 then adding Crawley at 100/1 and a 1000/1 in both the FA Cup and League Cup would return 120 million according to a calculator. Would that mean Chelsea, Cardiff and Pompey would pay out that much? I'm a bit of a betting newbie, so of there's something wrong with that, someone let me know.
I see! So what does this calculator mean when I put it to trebles and put some odds in and it says total return 120m? Are those the maximum odds? Or have I missed something?
