Yeah the official coach always has wheelchair access. That's why it parks closest to the stadium. It was about three years ago. You leave the Steve Bull Lower and turn left to where the car park is behind one of the goals. Best thing to do is dodge between all the cars in there incognito to avoid a sly slap from one of their cowards.
well i went with club there and we parked up near uni. Alsi police just took WC coach in and made all rest go in together got to ground about 2.50 i think.
Been 3 times and each time in a car. So couldnt comment. Ive never EVER had any grief away from home other than Brum playoffs, and once at both pig-sty's.. You cant deny that Molineux looks the part though.. why havent we got a proper colour scheme? Statues etc? "skint.."
Charlton Athletic, a long time favourite ground (and overall favourite away days) of many of the London Reds. I haven't been there for a few years now, but I used to love being able to see the top of the old terrace above the roof of the new stand. That must have been a big old terrace. Another favourite is Craven Cottage (although the questionable statue might put me off nowadays), but a lovely ground and a lovely away day. The walk from the station to the ground is the polar opposite of the one in Gillingham. We even had a good day out when we got stuffed 5-1 one Sunday afternoon. But not as good as the day we won at Fulham and then wandered down to the Half Moon at Putney to watch the England game in the back room. It was pretty dark in there and packed with people watching the game and the chant of Engerland, Engerland broke out, which morphed after about two lines into Barnserley, Barnserley! We must have outnumbered the locals. Another great ground is Accrington's. It looks like it should be condemned and it was poetic justice the day me and my mate went that they were playing Gillingham, my mate asking the Gillingham fans how they like a taste of their own medicine, being stuffed into a decrepit old away stand. One side of the ground has a couple of sheds that belong on an 18th century farm and at one point the ball from a local game on a field close to the stadium nearly ended up on the Accrington pitch. However, sitting in the main stand was a really pleasurable experience (apart from the strange accents of the locals). The club bar opens up at half-time and is a great little bar, even serving it's beer in proper pint glasses. If Barnsley ever went under I could be persuaded to make a few trips to cheer on the Stanleh (I think I pronounced that correctly!).
Absolutely correct besides which I hate these new all-look-the-bl**dy-same grounds where you have to look at the colour of the seats to try and work out what ground you are actually in. Also I don't like the new Wembley, the old one was a bit decrepit but the huge amount of money spent on the new one would have been better spent building a new one somewhere in the Midlands (probably for half the price) or renovating the old Wembley - keeping the twin towers.
The day out at Wolves wasn't helped when the woman lino Amy Raynor disallowed our goal for offside. I've seen no real trouble at away games either, apart from Maine Road in our 2-0 cup defeat in the mid 90s.
pikey park...because you can pack it up in a bag and rebuild it anywhere you like....just right for the pikeys i suppose
Huddersfield? Come on Dreamboy. It's plastic fantastic. Really not a fan. Brighton was nice, very comfy and excellent 'matchday experience' Have to say, Millennium is great. New Wembley is too but cost far too much.
