It is Khaled, not Kalid, Khalid, Kaleed or Khaleed. I really don't get why it is constantly misspelt.

    It is Neerav, not Nareev.

And I don't think it is fair to speculate on why Whitey doesn't post on here anymore, unless I've missed something specifically saying he's been restricted by the club.

No negativity from me, old mate. Although I appreciate that as I can no longer attend matches, my opinion doesn't really carry any weight.

Happy when we win, moan when we lose, I think you are probably kidding yourself if you think it's been, or will be any different and probably the case across 90% of clubs, you may well be in the 10% minority so hats off to you.
I know you've tried to segregate the 2 entities on/off the field, but ultimately what happens off the pitch does have a bearing on supporters and its not beyond the realms that we've witnessed teams imploded due to off field decisions, the casing point being ourselves in the summer of 2020 and Conway's best transfer window ever.
We had an opportunity that summer post covid to try to kick on but regressed massively due to off field decisions impacting our on field direction.

Kev, your opinion counts as much as the next man.

Years of loyal custom and an avid supporter does not suddenly become "not worthy" just because you cannot be their in person.

You're just as passionate as those that travel the length and breadth of the country, I've seen it. And therefore experienced enough to hold a very valid view when it's needed.

    Don't talk yourself down, mate.

Thank you, old friend, for those kind comments.
We're in the Play Offs, whilst still nowhere near being at 100% of what we're capable of, in my opinion. We have some talented players, but we can get better. There are a number of WUMs who do their best to annoy by posting comments just to get a reaction. They're likely to post about their innocence and being victimised afterwards!

Well I do beg your pardon I’m sure
As for Whitey I thought I’d read something about him being restricted although to be fair I can’t find it

Nothing wrong with being a happy clapper. Criticising others for having issues with the club however is unfair and threads like this just stir the pot.

My 2 penneth for what is worth.

The club as a whole I do think are going in the right direction.

On the pitch, we aren't pulling up any trees, but bagging points. And as noted above, I agree, we have a very talented bunch of players. And can be/will get better.

The frustration lays at the door of having to "start again" at the beginning of the season with yet another shake of the managerial positions and quite a few changes of personnel again. I dream of a day when we can make one or 2 changes each window, rather than the many we do.

We are in a healthy position in the league, but could be better off, but we're not owing to the above. But it's not bad.

Playing style, I can't put my finger on it. I'm not excited, and as been said by others, can be bored easily with it. Maybe that's because the team haven't yet got all guns blazing on how NC wants us to play.

Off the pitch, we have history to prove that when the fans and club are aligned, we become an unstoppable force. But mix up after mix up, and all the documented frustrations (getting in and out, kits, west stand, coms, Horsham etc etc) grinds fans down (not all, but a significant proportion) and we end up with quiet/dead like atmospheres we are seeing.

Progress is being made in terms of ownership structure and the future can look good, but we have to do better at keeping fans/club connected. Last season @granty the red provided a spark, but then was subjected to his issues.

Plenty to work on, but I appreciate not everything can be resolved at once, but as a club, I request that they do their upmost to keep fans on board. Without that, it's going to be difficult to progress.

    TL/DR

    Can do better

He's not meant to entertain you, he is there to coach the team.

Bit like saying I don't like Billy Connolly because he can't cross a ball to save his life.

In the 90/91 season when we missed out on the play-offs on the last day, I can remember walking out after winning and scoring 3, 4 and 5 goals and Oakwell Lane was full of people (usually older men) moaning that we didn't want to go up.

Some people see the glass half full, some see it half empty, and others realise its time to get a refill.

I’ve not listened a single Collins interview, pre or post match. After Duff, I’m judging him entirely on what I see on the pitch, not what he says off it.

My dad said "they don't want to go up" walking to the Bradford game in 1997.....
