Maybe so. If he has, why do folk keep having a go at him? Surely he should just be ignored and left to it.

    Maybe he should....

... but sometimes he will say something that a person may find really offensive and they feel they have to respond to him in spite of themselves.

He has to learn that you cannot make accusations or insult people without expecting some sort of reaction.

Impossible to ignore him. A while ago I put him on ignore but after just a couple of days I had had to take him off ignore because the BBS was unusable. Try reading this BBS without reading any of his posts, it makes the entire place impossible to use or understand because he hijacks almost every thread and takes it off on a tangent with his wild comments.

    And that's fine.

But I don't believe everything he posts offends LD Red and Tatty

Dont fall for the victim crap, he'll be laughing his ****** off this morning. Once again he got exactly what he set out to do last night, another 3 page thread talking about him.

Wouldn't have happened if the same old posters hadn't gone after him once again. It's simple, if you genuinely don't like him, all you need to do is rise above it all and just ignore him. The ganging up on him last night was well out of order, and if folk act like bullies towards him they then appear every bit as sad as they make him out to be.

That's a lot of sh*te. All you need to do is just respond to the posts you want to respond. I hardly ever respond to Hemsy's posts, however I'm perfectly capable of reading them and acknowledging/disregarding them as appropriate without ever needing to tap out a response, as you should be. Like anyone on here, he's entitled to post and then expect to be engaged with or not. Genuinely don't see the problem.

So what exactly is the problem if he posts wanting a reaction and people respond giving him one? He asks for you to reply to him and you do. How exactly is that bullying?

He knows exactly what he's doing, he's fishing.

    Standard tactics.

Post something that will draw in the customary small fish who feed on anything he chucks at them, he then sits and waits for what he's actually fishing for, the "sympathy voters". Thats what he gets off on. Keep it up.

he is picked on half of the time becuase no one can make head or tail of what he's posting, not because someone disagrees with what he's put,in my opinion thats not a good enough reason to continually be-little him.

    Re: Maybe he should....

I honestly can't remember seeing any posts from Hemsy in the past that I would have considered to be deeply offensive. What I have seen have been plenty of fairly simplistic and ill-informed opinions, however in that regard he'll certainly never be alone on the BBS.

Just remind me of the things he's said in the past that you believe have been genuinely deeply offensive (tell me you're not referring to the Bobby Hassell affair?), so that I can judge for myself whether that was the case, or if instead you are far too sensitive for your own good (certainly to be a member of the BBS where different opinions - some of which you may not like - can still be freely expressed)? Obviously a third assessment could be that some posters have cried 'offense' in order to then justify their bullying responses, but I'd like to think no-one on here would stoop so low.

The racist abuse of one of our own players was pretty offensive to some.

I think he has been banned three times for offensive posts.. (I stand to be corrected)

Just lagging in third place behind the Reeve and he whose name must not be mentioned on the offensive posts league

So what if he's after a reaction, don't you realise that the best way to deal with that is to not give him what you believe he craves?

No-one is forced to respond to any of his posts, that's purely a matter of personal choice. Ignoring is fine, ganging up and bullying is not.

If you believe he is after a reaction and people give him the reaction that he craves where is the harm in that? How exactly does it make him a victim if he asks for something and gets it?

I haven't a scooby doo what he said, what do you think I am, the bbs memory man?

Obviously strong enough to have the word "idiot" superimposed over his name by site admin.
