    Re: Maybe he should....

Brilliant. That bunch over there are offended by what he's said, I didn't hear it and I know that offense is a purely subjective matter, however regardless of this I've decided I'm offended too............

I don't think being told to 'get a job', asked how he affords to attends games or how much tax he pays is a reaction to football posts. That's bullying.

Fair point. I have to say that I don't get involved with any of that with him because it isn't really any of my business. I only really say anything like that to him is when (I hope) he knows I'm just completely taking the **** and it isn't a serious post. Especially considering a conversation I once had with him.

The only time I think those posts are acceptable are when he posts saying that football isn't expensive and that everyone should be able to afford it because then the questions about how he affords it are relevant to the conversation. I believe almost the exact same thing used to happen with dreamboy when he made similar posts.

'If you believe he is after a reaction and people give him the reaction that he craves where is the harm in that? How exactly does it make him a victim if he asks for something and gets it?'

I'm sure it's unintentional but that sounds a bit like the 'she was asking for it 'cos she was wearing a short skirt' justification.

I actually thought of something similar to that while I was posting it but that was in no way what I meant. It was meant closer to a woman going out clubbing, actually physically ASKING for sex with random men, going back to their place and getting what she wants and enjoying it and then a year later saying 'men always use me for sex, I don't know why'. Far closer to that than the analogy that rape is ok if she wears a short skirt.

At the end of the day, it's his own choice whether he comes on here or not. Also his own choice whether he post (sometimes) derogatory posts about our club captain. His own choice whether he posts crap about Luke Steele's kicking ability.

If people reply and give him a bit of stick, well, that's life I'm afraid. Wouldn't class it as bullying though. This thread is more attention seeking for other posters to sympathise with him. Need to find a hobby, Hemsy.

Can't remember exactly. It was after the Peterborough game, so you'll have to look back.

I'd be flattered mate, people seem to be obsessed with you.

You do come across sometimes as an attention seeker.

But a lot of the time, you've not even been online and there's threads having a go at you.

No need for it. Some people just need to grow up. Very childish and petty.

If you antagonise people expect a reaction. If you are very forthright with your views expect a reaction. Most of it is only **** taking. There have been times in the past when it's him who gets it stirring, many in fact. It's a forum, nobody is gonna get hurt. People say "ignore him" but that can be said to both parties. Just my take on it. He knows what he is doing, but he just doesn't prepare well.

He often makes very good points and gets ridiculed. He sometimes makes misguided posts and gets vilified. He occasionally gets goaded in to making very stupid posts. But that's because he gets attacked and goes on the defensive against people who are more savy than him. But those people should know better. Making someone look stupid just because you can is pathetic.

He made a perfectly reasonable point about not offering an ageing squad player a new contract the other day and got abuse for it. It's the constant belittling that I think is sad. If you can't understand or don't like his posts just ignore it. If something offends you say so but in a mature adult manner.

In fairness, Hemsworth Tyke is the sole reason I stopped posting on here. I dont agree with a single thing he writes - thats if I can understand it. Any new thread is guaranteed to be hijacked by him and ruined.

However, as a regularly reader of the forum it is obvious certain people keep their mouse button over the refresh button in case he makes a post.

In my opinion the forum was a far better place when he was banned.

Can this thread be removed for a couple of hours whilst the match is on. By all means stick it back on later.
