Right up Swansea's street... and if DK is worth £20 million , then there is still hope for me.

Dike is still very young and inexperienced but the raw material is there and he's willing to learn. The world's his oyster.

We lost to 1 lapse in defending but a good goal nonetheless. Swansea keeper MOM. We’ve played better for sure, it ain’t over by a long way

What happened to your comments about getting behind our team?
Bit of a history lesson for you.

you can all take as many cheap shots at me as you like... but we played an very uncharerteritic way to our norm IE the amount of Hoof ball, and it was very clear that Val was totally not satyisfied with it. It's still in our hands to turn it around at just a goal difference. I am sorry for stating the truth but I am sick of people hitting on me when I just underline the obvious, and cannot accept the truth... basically we were well off the game tonight and ended up like headless chickens... which is just what Swansea came to achieve.

To be fair, I don’t think our style gets the best out of him. When we do get it down and play he has shown his qualities but all too often he’s deployed as a battering ram to compete under the constant barrage of hopeful up and unders in hope rather than expectation that the 2nd ball falls kindly for someone.

Go and have a lie down, they’re not cheap shots, people are taking you task about your previous posts. We all have our views on how we played tonight, we hit the bar, their keeper made a couple of good saves. Had a good penalty shout turned down. How many saves did Collins have to make?

Agree, lumping balls at Dike is pointless and horrible.

To be fair, to an extent I do agree. When we got it down and ran at them early in the second half they were **** scared of us. We are at our best when we play football with the high press. We played it long time and again in the first half particularly and it seemed like it was meat and drink to their back line.

We need to go into Saturday with no fear of getting it down and giving them a game of football because when we do, we are better than them at it.

It’s not something I enjoy. At least he wins his fair share. Before he came it was like playing long ball to Jeannette Crankie. Part of the problem is that the balls are so much of an up and under that you can’t flick it on for someone to play off him and run in behind the opposing defence, it just goes back up in the air.

He may sometimes get a touch, but the next person to touch it is seldom in red. It’s just a waste of the ball and of the energy he expends dealing with all the constant wrestling.

It’s not a new phenomenon mind you, that was as typical a Barnsley performance as I’ve seen this year.

I’ve posted it a few times before and I’ll say it again that we are better suited to teams who enjoy possession so we can press them high.

swansea, amongst a few others such as Direby, Roth, Cov, Brum were all happy to pump the ball back at us which negates the press. Playing Dike just gives licence to go long and Swansea pretty much had his number last night. They struggled with Morris, that’s for sure.

I’d like to see Morris, Woodrow, Chaplin start on Saturday. Their link up on the deck could be more effective

^^ This post is possibly more articulate than your opening gambit - whether folk agree with it or not is another matter, but it is your opinion and you are entitled to it. I think it's your opening gambit, and the tone of it, that is provoking the responses. And if I may say it is a little hypocritical given your recent rallying call.

Yes, they struggled with Morris because he quite rightly kept it on the floor a bit.

Dragon Bluebird - the Kerduff season ticket-holder - will be devastated that his club's biggest rivals won at Oakwell last night.
