How do you know he is 60% fit?

After today will he now be 67.842% fit?

Absolute ********.

Even when Chopra wasn't scoring he was pulling the defence all over the place, setting goals up and battling for the ball.

Knight, on the other hand, is w*nk.

RE: How do you know he is 60% fit?

Knight said he was only 60% fit because of the past few months being treated like **** by Swansea. By Burnley on boxing day he should be fully fit with no excuses. At least he is a trier and not bone idle lazy like Nardiello.

If he's only 60% fit Davey wants a slap for starting him.

Thats a bit strange

I thought Nardiello had been out of action since the summer exactly the same as Leon Knight had.

One of those players has obviously done enough to bang two importan goals in for us in the last few weeks. One hasnt.

I'll leave it up to you which one is which.

for someone who came with the rep of being a cocky little **** who thought he was star quality, he looks very short of confidence. First half today he got into a number of scoring positions and seemed to just want to pass to avoid the responsibility of having a go. When he did shoot he ballsed it up and a coupla times Nardiello had a pop at him for not running into space. Looks out of his depth and looks like he knows it too and sadly if he doesn't start scoring soon he's gonna start gettin grief.

Because....

He's a damn good player.
He scares defences to death,
Drags defenders away from their 'real' targets , (leaves Nads open ( Leics today had Nads well covered 3 markers on him whenever he had the ball and Kelly's tactics were spot on, they stifled us)
Holds the ball up well
Can head - yes he bloody can
He's a tough as old boots
He's still not 100% fit but yes, I do believe he is worth a contract

regardless

if Richards had gone 5 games for us without scoring then people would be all over his back.

we would be better playing with 5 in midfield rather than knight thats how little he offers imho

Yes, but Knight...

Is exciting to watch
Runs at them with pace
Can honestly win the ball and show a fotball brain
Richards can hold up the ball Bless him and I hope he has a lovely Christmas
Can't fault his committment, but he is just not good enough for this League
Just my opinion. There will be millions who disgree and why not? It's all banter

Playing a guy back to fitness great stuff!

He has offered next to nothing so far for me.

This "pace" you speak of , he hasnt broken into a jog in any of the games I have seen him play.

we didn't, we borrowed him

in order to assess whether he is worthy of signing permanently.

On the showing so far (seen all his games except yesterday) i'd say it is difficult to judge, he clearly isn't fit but I would not sign him on this basis. However, he has shown plenty of quality in the past and if we can get some of that out of him in the next 3 games then it is probably worth trying to extend the loan.

At the end of the day he is the sort of player that can offer us an extra dimension, and he is incomparable to Richards because of that. To the person that said "if Richards didn't score in 5 games we'd be on his back" - Richards very frequently goes 5 without scoring, in fact he's averaged less than 1 in 4 over his career compared to 1 in 3 for Knight. My own evaluation is that Knight can better, I doubt that Richards will.

When will Barnsley fans learn to give players a chance?
