RE: "Box office players were NOT promised by the board". This has been gone through numerous times on here. It was Patrick Cryne who said that IF box office players became available then funds would be made available to try to sign them. There was NEVER a promise that they would sign such players.
RE: "Box office players were NOT promised by the board". Did we ever get a definition of 'box office' ?
Which players were deemed'box office' ?

RE: "Box office players were NOT promised by the board". Thats why we didnt sign anyone then I guess.
One up front isnt a problem , but when the other 9 outfield players are camped on the edge of our own area then thats when I see a problem.
Davey also doesnt seem to believe that we should attempt to beat any teams, we have to hope that teams will beat themselves against us.
The Derby and Sunderland games were an utter disgrace , and unless there is a sudden change in his belief that we have a chance thenI forsee another limp 1 or 2 goal defeat with Birmingham not having broken sweat.

The best solution: Bring Mattis back into the team. That would just about finish me off. Not sexually, obviously.
Jay Tabb? we offer say £200K? Someone else offers £800K, ah well.
Lee Williamson, not even box office either. We offer £200K, someone else offer £800K, ah well. At least we tried. Oh no we didn't though, did we? We never tried to sign anyone.
At least there's no confusing contradiction coming from the club though.

Under no circumstances though should we have Howard centrally. Because he's not strong defensively. What with us keeping all those clean sheets and that.

I am glad that Davey has solved the problem of the oppos walking through our midfield. I think he needs to fold his arms a bit more.

He's totally solved all the problems Ritchie couldn't/wouldn't solve. Well, he's signed loads of players, cos that's what matters.
Arm folding. Dirk's speciality. We have an airtight defence & a steely midfield. I'm still laughing at retiring the number 5. One, two, three, four, six Once I ate some weetabix Seven, eight, nine and ten Then I dry loved Uncle Ben
I'm sure it is The combined strength of all the flotsam and jetsam that has been brought in should be more than before.
Pre season - Central defender, central midfielder, striker required, all of Championship ability at least. The fact that we didn't is a disgrace.
Go on somebody, tell me Ritchie wasn't interested in getting in 3 players of that calibre.

Yes. I can't argue. I've loved some right dogs after a neet in TARN. FACT. I've never done them in the tinter though - as I don't think it's possible.
