Why do British Companies still use Indian Call Centres

    just ask to be put though to a proper english speaking person you can understand

    half the time they do, other half they say sorry, what is it you saying to me.

    Used to have a nitemare with Dell with support calls - especially trying to explain that you know exactly what is wrong. They still insist on telling you something else completely wrong. They are just people following scripts.

    Mainly cos its cheap to use them, although they're usually crap at their jobs

    100,000 BT employees. 30,000 of them are in India

    I heard a rumour they're going to change their name from BT to IT soon.

    The company i wrk for has just moved all there operations back to the UK. It has meant that profit sharing amongst staff will be reduced but spares us from apologising for poor service.... It's a move all staff have supported.... i also know that Powergen have done it cause there service used to be rubbish... It's much better now!!!
