Why do so many people being interviewed on tv start their replies...

    The biggest culprit of this is Paul Heckingbottom. Haven't really noticed it too much on others, the one I mainly hear is 'errrrm'

    In some of the circles I've been working recently the managers' favourite seems to be to start the answer to every question with "Yeah, no............."

    Wtf - is that a "yes" or a "no" o_O?

    There are a few football ones that get repeated as well.

    "Ever so well" was one that super John used to say and then it seemed to be widely used.

    Another one is when someone signs for a new club and says "can't wait to get going"

    My number 1 though is "it is what it is". That is rife, and is the most inane and redundant thing you could possibly utter, but is spoken like stoic philosophy.
