    Cant stand him. Got older and slower and woy kept picking him for england to the total detriment of the team. Plus the kissing man u badge when hes uber toffee and all the b/s with his dopey wife. Just not a very nice bloke and not a fan....

    At one point during his lifetime he was the best player in the world.
    But other players pushed on and passed him - because he just turned up and did his bit and picked up the wage packet.

    Best player in the world?? You mad... Hes was a good striker and i say good, for about 6 years. When he couldnt score goals man u put him in midfield to try the hide thefact he was going downhill fast

    I don't hate him but I do dislike him because he's a serial adulterer who rightly or wrongly gives men a bad name.

    Add that to the fact he's a drink driver who willingly puts innocent people's lives at risk and his petulant outburst at fans and it just paints a picture of somebody who thinks being born with a talented foot makes him superior and gives him a right to do as he pleases. He's essentially everything that's wrong with football and footballers.

    this...spot on. Think he had a gift as a footballer but didn’t work on it as much as he should have. His goal tally looks incredible until you look at how many games he’s played. The goal ratio ain’t as good as people make out.

    Thought Rooney was a very good player ....especially when he was younger. Wish he was with us (obviously for £5 grand per week tho!!)

    It just boils my pizz that Derby are still messing with the fair play rules to sign him... despite their previous debacle of selling the ground to themselves.... Hope Rooney has an absolute mare!
