    Its impossible to tell I know, but I just can't see anyone else who we realistically could have brought it keeping us up last year. That's why for me, he was the right appointment, and was in the summer too. Things went a bit iffy after that.

    To be fair mate, I'm not often right.

    This is why I don't understand all the "he was Flicker's assistant, cheap option etc etc" when Danny Wilson was EXACTLY that after Anderson left. Hell, he got some right stick when he was playing for us!

    Difference is that Wilson didn't take over because Anderson was judged to have failed and therefore sacked, even though he didn't exactly pull up trees. He took over because Anderson decided he'd rather be assistant at Middlesborough under his mate Bryan Robson. So he wasn't the promotion of part of a team that failed.

    I would probably disagree with that. If he wasn't already employed by the club he wouldn't even be on the rader. And if he was on the rader, we would be up in fecking arms about the prospect of appointing yet another League 2 experiment.
