Why does Schmidt even get on the bench?

    I understand everything you're saying and agree with it to a point, but I think Schmidt does so little that I find it very difficult to defend just how anonymous he is. It would painful, but it's gone beyond that, it's genuinely funny how little he does.

    Tried to count his touches of ball in a game other week , think I got to 4 . Very anonymous and not ready or good enough for first team selection

    I'm sure there's a good player there, but we're not seeing whatever it is that Struber sees on the training ground. If we weren't up to our necks in it, I'd suggest a run of games, but that would just be too risky as things stand. Maybe he'll come good next season. Time will tell.

    If I were Schmidt I'd speak to Struber and say ,"I'm not paying my £7 quid subs if I'm only playing odd 5 mins here and there. You're taking piss my subs are paying for bags of chips and farmfoods pies for rest of club".
