Well everyone does have an opinion on the Howard situation but the couple of pubs I went in before the game on Saturday the majority wished Howard well. End of day he played a part in some good seasons for Barnsley, getting us back up and helping us stay in this league. Liverpool was a bonus. Fair enough he's gone to Sheff U but end of day they prob stated more ambition, offered more money and he doesn't have to move from the area. Also, do we know he threatened to go on strike? Do we know he caused major unrest?
What a load of tosh ................... He's caused upset in the dressing room. No he hasn't - how would you know anyway? been in the dressing room have you? He's caused the Chairman to resist any move to the club of his choice because of this upset No he hasn't - how would you know anyway? mates with the Chairman are you? He's threatend to go on strike. No he hasn't He's been playing below par because he can't be bothered, but still taking his wages. No he hasn't, he's been trying his best and been better than lots of the others and they have continued to take their wages as well, as you would in their position He's gone to a bitter rival knowing full well the feelings of Barnsley fans towards the Sheffield clubs, when he had a choice not to No he didn't. He was forced out of BFC so they could get some dosh for him before his contract expired He's left the club and by doing so at this particular difficult time has pushed the club one step closer to relegation But you just said he wasn't trying so how will him leaving be derogatory to the team? Did you want him in the team or not? You talk some *****
you havea number ofproblems
you try to attribute your personal views to the majority of Barnsley fans-that is clearly wrong
in your eyes your view is "common sense" -well it isn't always.
you have an irrational dislike of local football clubs which blinkers your views
you make statements of "fact" based purely on gossip and hearsay
by all means get upset but don't try to make out that everyone esle feels quite the same way

Nah Make it Slipper Saturday for the crowd on here who can't be arsed to go down to the ground on a Saturday afternoon.
cant agree more mate. howard is quality and sheff utd will now benefit. he wil play in the prem with them next season. good luck to howard.
I Have to agree with what Nudger has said. It's the matter of fact on how Howard left us, demanding to leave, Threatening to go on strike, the man is a total ******. Ever since the Liverpool game. he has become a billy big B*ll*cks whoopie fecking doo. One good perfomance in about 20 games. i feel the ban was harsh on you myself, site admin are harsh these days. Good fecking Riddance Howard, hope you break yer fecking leg (wnkr)
