They have 4 or 5 because they now 2 or 3 will probably die. It's not a lifestyle choice, it's necessity. You try living like that, knowing that some of your kids will die an early death. Have some respect.
the bit i watched had some african folk with flies crawling all over them, put me right off my kebab it did, switched over and watched the walking dead instead
Why then, if they cannot support each other as man and wife, do they choose to have children who need more support? That's the selfish bit for me, nowt abart not showing respect, that is a lifestyle choice owd pal!
in my opinion after all these years of fundraising little has changed in africa. You would think they'd think twice about bringing kids into such poverty. Dont we as a nation give international aid to these countries?,what is happening with all the money raised. Its shocking to see pictures of whats happening but surely someone should be looking more closely as to whats going on.Really does make you wonder how much of every quid raised actually gets to the front line.
Totally agree, something stinks to me. How much like you say, 75 million this year, will reach its intended target? You'd think after all these years that education in countries like Africa would have evolved ten fold but by the images and filming shown, it doesn't appear so. If they concentrated on just this aspect, surely future generations would not continue to bring children into this extreme poverty and choose to better themselves through education thus enabling them to have families to which they could support. I appreciate that this is easier said than done but they've had 30 years to my memory of this type of fund raising and very little progress seems to have been made and shown publicly.
They NEED to have kids to work for them and provide for them. In the conditions they live in the young and fit are workers for the less able parents. Source: Geography lessons, age twelve.
They've had nearly two generations of charitable help and no lessons are being learned, Source: Education age 5
