and when we kick off next seasons league campaign with an away trip to yeovil, then what ? do we still keep harping back to seasons gone by when the players occasionaly showed what they can do ? besides am pretty sure keef doesnt like barnsley fans remembering the good old days, stuck in the past rings a bell

They're running out of excuses considering the recent loan signings, the problem being that adding 4 new laikers into your side will take a bit of time to gel which he might not have.

Also Perkins missing for half of games this year hasn't helped.

Read something somewhere that the biggest part of football management is luck. He got lucky with Vaz Te and Drinkwater in terms of how they worked out but then unlucky to lose Butterfield at that stage of last season along with the rest of the injuries/sales that month. Considering the majority of players we sign are 'punts' then that bit of luck is unbelievably important in terms of hoping they work out.

With (a bit more) patience I think we'll be fine. That might mean a relegation but that was coming either way - you don't finish in the bottom 6/7 every year for 5 years without good reason.

According to Hill he has players who will run through a brick wall for him. Personally I think we don't have many who could run through a Lego wall for him.
