Well Allen......

.........even if he's stopped sneaking about trying to get names and addresses the fact that he did it isn't going to go away. I'll say again, I'd tell them to stick the job before stooping that low. And as for grassing Neutrino to the FA........

I suppose the main problem people have is that the official site is the first stop for so many outsiders and, quite frankly, it's crap innit? And spelling and grammar DO matter on there. We get enough stick and that site does nothing to help shake the Dingle image others have of us.

Having said all that it's obvious Knowles's standard of journalism is high enough for our chairman so it looks like we're stuck with it.

We're all on a high at the moment and I don't think the crapness of the official site is getting anyone down.

RE: I don't believe it is down to Premium TV

    1st sentence.

    "Over clubs"

Is that meant to say other clubs?

You don't get paid, and you probably didn't do a further education course in how to type/write properly. Innit.

    Why?

Everyone makes mistakes, just pointing it out that none of us are perfect!!

I cant help wondering how many other clubs

Have a campaign going to replace the Head of Media

Usually its the Chairman or Manager -good to see we have our sights aimed in the right direction.

Just a thought how well did the information flow when he wasnt there at the start of the season?

Of course everyone makes mistakes. Rob obviously should make more than me or you because it is his job and his area of specialty (spelt wrong) but that doesnt mean he can't make the odd mistake. Does that mean that it's wrong to point them out so that he can change them or should we just say 'oh look at them mistakes. oh well, never mind, let's just not say anything and hope that nobody else notices them'?

Its ok to mention the mistakes and point out any discrepancies but if he has a pop back at the fans then it is considered unfair. If people give it out they should be prepared to take it back.

while i'd firstly like to state

that I dont want to get rid of the head of media, I simply want the head of media to improve (drastically) I think that it has to be pointed out that us getting no information while he was away on holiday is pretty much like the situation we have now with colgan injured.
When Colgan got injured and the club knew he was going to be out they gave Flinders his position until he is fit again whilst when Rob went on holiday they left his position vacant. All that shows is that his position is important, not necessarily that he is good at filling it.

Our groundsman could be absolutly crap but if he went on holiday and nobody could the grass you would soon notice. It doesnt mean that the groundsman is any good, simply that hes better than nothing.

As usual I have no idea what i'm on about so i'll shut up

whats the point! He doesnt reply - hes plain fkin ignorant!

I emailed him in the past to complain that he had passed my email address out to all and sundry and he didnt even have the courtesy to apologise!

In this list of emails he also gave out the personal emails of several key BFC people including Paul Harts, dave walker, riddy, etc etc.... A direct breach of the data protection act. Yet not even a sorry! Lucky i didnt want the name of BFC dragged through the mud or id have reported it. So while i dont like to see a witch hunt hes getting his dues!

    i'm not with you

You just said that pointing out mistakes so that he can correct them is fair and then you said he should be allowed to have a pop back. I don't think that pointing out mistakes so that they can be corrected is having a pop. I think it is simply telling him that he has got something wrong that needs changing.

Like when the ticket prices were incorrect and were showing as higher than they actually are. Is pointing that out 'having a pop' or is it correcting a mistake (which will actually make the club more money)?
