How can you possibly not apply the racist card

when you are discussing a political party that is institutionally racist? Maybe they are peddling some policies on which you agree, but that doesn't excuse the fact that at their heart they are a racist party. Hitler may well have had some excellent economic policies, so does that mean you can ignore the fact that he slaughtered millions of Jews? Herod could have had some very insightful ideas about education, so I guess we can forgive him murdering the first born of thousands? You can't pick and choose policies to agree on. You have to take the whole package. The BNP believe in separatism, they believe that a person with a different colour of skin is inferior. Just because you support their policy for immigration doesn't mean you can ignore the hatred that is central to the party.

like I said yesterday, a cross in their box because of concerns (genuine or otherwise) about immigration is fine, but once you tick that box you give support to the entire range of their political ideals. It's not multipile choice.

Also, the irony of her point 2. Her grandfather, she proudly states fought to stay British (slightly inaccurate). The goons she wants to support hold Adlof Hitler up as some kind of hero.

1. Immigrant workers have driven up growth by maintaining competitive wages and supplying a much needed boost to the workforce (rather than those workshy bleed the welfare state dry types born in this country)

2. We've had immigration into this country for many years, Jews, Hugeonots, Flemish and German immigrants in the 16th, 17th, 18th century, then African and Asians from the 18th Century onwards, then Commonwealth immigrants fropm the 1950's onwards. They have made this country what it currently is, the country you want to keep. Why so scared?

3. Without workers from abroad the NHS would be nothing.

4. And you feel threatened???? English is the worlds main language and will not be moved from that position, it is the language of business. try learning a foreigh language, it won't make you any less british and you might learn something useful and interesting.

5. No one can stop you being british, even immigrants.

6. Maybe he'd be shocked if he saw you were trying to perpetuate the lies of Hitler and Mussolini though.
