I'd like to be kind when it comes to this lad. HUGE talent. Nothing but issues. Sell him and retain a HUGE! percentage.

I agree mate. When he gets a manager who’s right for him and gets him playing consistently up to the level he’s capable of he’ll go for millions which is why a sell on fee could be a good idea for us.

I'll add to that he's trying force a move. He wants to play, can't blame him. Personally I'm not happy how he's going about it.

    We ve
IF what has been said about Struber freezing him.out is true you can't blame the lad. With the trial coming up, if he is found guilty he ll need the well regarded footballer who works within the community/family man image to shorten his sentence. So the sooner he is playing regularly the better for him.

I think there's an equal chance of him playing in the Premiership or non-league in 5 years.

We just don't know what the issue is with Mallik, but he's a really talented youngster, who should be fitting in perfectly to Struber's system with two up front ahead of the diamond. We knew about his 'other off-field issues' when we signed him and, if that's a factor (it must be, but maybe not the only one), it is hardly surprising that it may have affected his focus and attitude until it is sorted. I just feel sure that Mallik will come good big-style for someone in the next couple of years and I hope it's us. Let's give him every chance, but I'm not sure that we'll see the best of him this season, somehow.
