There's no way they'd let him go for £500k - forget it

Anything north of a million up front would make them think hard. Two million a dead cert - he'd be down the road. Three million - which seems to get touted around - I think we'd be very surprised to get that, and we'd snap their hand off.

End of the day, when he's good Howard is very very good (not as good as Hignett IMHO), but too often he has gone missing on the pitch and you can't rely on him to produce the magic week in week out. I think he is one of the best players in the Championship - but there are no standout players in this league who are genuinely banging on the door of the Premiership.

Nugent cost £6million. Look at how he has proved his premiership worthy skills.

After £1million i couldn't care less how much he goes for. He's served this club, he, along with the rest of the team got us some good cup money. What ever we do get for him, it will be good & we will benefit from it.

Didn't he play with an injury for both of those games?

If a Prem team come in for him I don't think you can prevent him a pay day he deserves. How much is it going to
cost us to replace him I think £1.5m at least for him to give us chance of a reasonable replacement.

If Chris Brunt can go for £3M, then Howard with his 14+ goals must surely be worth the same!

    Surely.
    He scores more than Brunt.
    More skilful
