This just proves Dreamboy wrong - EVERYONE has access to the internet. Even people in institutions such as yourself.

How have the club been ****ting on fans for years? Providing Championship football and offering one of the best value STs in the country? What a bunch of ****ers.

Is that it then ? You obviously have some sort of superiority complex over those that don't attend regularly. You seem to imagine that BFC operates in some sort of vacuum where money is no object for its supporters.

We all know that the club is struggling financially and we all wish and hope for bigger attendances but when it costs and adult and his son £48 to attend - and that's before any travel costs, programme, refreshments etc then that is a decent chunk out of any budget. And he knows full well about all the ways round it but he works for himself, long hours and can only make games very infrequently - he's got to think long and hard before spending that again - families have other demands on their income.

So before you go off on one accusing the 'stay aways' of sh*tting on the club without any consideration of any other external factor, let's have a look at you. You obviously think buying a ST is no problem, so come on, get your hand in your pocket, sponsor a player, sponsor the match ball, sponsor a match - don't just rest on your laurels and be so self satisfied. You're obviously in an priveleged position and love BFC so lets see the colour of your money.

Whether its just under or just over 10,000 James there will be more punters in Oakwell and giving Barnsley FC more income through reducing the ticket prices in this instance.

This will also help us keeping Lindley Catering happy with attendance numbers, the fans happier seeing the club make this move and hopefully for a better atmosphere allround today.

    You reds.

I don't expect that no. That would lose us money. Fans out of the area without the internet should probably have the option of a letter being posted to them once a month to be reminded of matches coming up. It's only the summer we hear from our club through the post and that's to buy a season ticket. As for today it's disapointing we had under 10,000 fans there to see an awesome team performance and after both clubs made an effort in reducing the price.
