Errrrrrrrr... I dont really rate him at all. Hardly played for past 5 years, scored next to nothing. He was decent in his youth, but if we did get him instead of FGR I'd be very underwhelmed. At least with May and Stockton, it was their most recent seasons where they played well, not 9 years ago like Wickham.
Truthfully i really don't know mate. Dont rate him at all, but neither do I rate Cole.
Grabban definitely, but since he turned contract at forest down I just assume other clubs are already in contact with him

I'm not even sure what Cole is meant to be.

He's not a good all round forward. He's not a target man or some kind of hold up player. He's not a playmaking forward or a poacher. He can run and press but never really looks committed to it, almost as though he's going to do it but if he gets the ball he'll be lost.

I'd rather give game minutes to someone from our youth teams in the hope that they take the chance to develop.

If anyone came in for Cole & Iseka I'd bight heir hands off. Unlikely. Both are less than useless. We'll have to give them both free transfers. Thanks Conway.

The annoying thing is cole clearly has talent. Not premier League talent but lower league talent. Problem is that he and too many others don't try hard enough.

Cole, iseka, styles, Benson. That's too many supposed first teamers who haven't been trying hard enough and a club who is having to offload anyone it can can't afford to carry people like that

Cole is proven at this level with service he'll score goals. Unfortunately you have to stick a shovel up your arse and clear snow to get accepted by the Oakwell faithful.

30 goals in 160ish games at league one level. Not great. His goal record overall is like 1 in 6 - and he's been at some decent clubs. His best goalscoring season in league one is 10, that was 5 years ago. I don't think he's proven at all mate. If he put himself about a bit, actually ran & tried jumping for balls, i'd be inclined to give him more of a chance. Give him Victor's work rate/determination/team work then perhaps, but just looks like he can't be bothered and doesnt wanna be here to me.

Same problem with Iseka for me, but I actually think he has a decent nose for a goal. Yet again though, lack of willing & work rate. That little purple patch last season, I genuinely thought we had a gem on our hands. Apparently not. 100% though I'd rather keep Iseka than Cole and give Duff a good run with him.

Can't agree he's a scapegoat' whenever i've seen him theres absolutely nothing there' he just looks completely and utterly disinterested' like its actually a chore being there.Vic was far from a good striker but what he lacked in talent he tried to make up for in effort and enthusiasm' Cole offers absolutely nothing for me' but he will play again because we'll have little choice and i certainly can't see anyone coming in for him.I do think theres a player in leya iseka though...

Proven at this level? Proven to not score?

He's not good enough. Unfortunately that's not really unique in our team for the last season or so. I just don't see him scoring at this level unless Duff unlocks whatever potential he supposedly has.

I would love to be proved wrong because that would mean there are positives to the season.

Given he played in the Man City academy and youth team does anyone know if he makes a nice sound when he strikes the ball?
