    I'm more than happy to let Danny decide, especially as I've no idea who he has targeted.:D Whoever we sign, there'll be dissenting voices. There were some who complained when he signed Paul Wilkinson & John Hendrie!:D

    The other Hull possibility would be Sone Aluko, who scored twice against us at their place. I think he may be injured, which could scupper any deal, but he would be another Hull option along with Fryatt. I rate both of them as the sort of striker we could do with. Either would hack it at this level straight away.

    I was having lunch at the milton arms in elsecar today, when a stocky coloured fella came in. He had a quick pint of snakebite and ordered a beef sandwich from the lunch time menu, declining the kind offer of a desert. I watched as he finally left and got into a brand new bmw with reg plate S3B 8FC. Someone told me he his our new striker, but i didnt recognise him personally!!

    i'm convinced he won't go for anyone below Championship. he was pressed on michael doyle on thursday, and said at the moment we're not in the market players at that level. he'll either go champ or PL youth/reserve

    one thing for sure no matter who we sign

    as usual it will be a last minute job. Hope I am wrong mind. We had a 10 day span to do summat, getting whatever players in sooner than later would have been better. It would give them and the squad chance to know each other, fitness levels up etc... oh well.
