Even if it's in the region of 44-45 points, I don't think we'll get anywhere near. I think we will just about mathematically down by Easter.
We're an awful side. The stats are disgraceful. 13 goals in 23 league games is it? Without serious changes in January then we will be lucky to finish above Derby.
Not a chance. This is the worse Championship Barnsley side I’ve ever seen. Pathetic side, inept manager and clueless board. Class.
A good result against Stoke and we might stay in touch. We look a touch better under Poya. More organised at least, but still bad.
Draw inspiration from 1986/7 season. Started with six straight losses and closed the calendar year with 16 points. Started the season with a strike force of Foreman and Chandler, two young lads who’d never played at, what was then, division two level. Roll forward and that season we finished with 55 points after, you guessed it, the addition of a bit of experience in the form of Roger Wylde up front. It’s been done before just highly unlikely this time round.
At the beginning of the season I said we would struggle...we would be out fought and out thought + we would see teams bully us too..... that said I reckoned we would finish in 19th spot....not seen anything yet to change my mind.... however come January that could all change Reckon Conway and Co would rob the pennies of a dead man's eyes to be in profit....so bracing myself for a fire sale
Well I was going to do another poll on this but it seems pointless. 38 optimistic souls still believed we would stay up just before Christmas. Is anyone left who thinks we will?
