He got it totally wrong When he took o'grady off did I imagine it or did the wednesday fans start mocking the decision by singing 'wilson is a wednesdayite'?
Half agreed, I was commenting on the season as a whole, not just on today. However, Danny Wilson said in his interview that both Jennings and Hunt has to come off as they were knackered. If Hunt had stayed on Jimbo would not have ended up at right back, then who knows what would have happened? Very dodgy logic though! We played OK, defended well with 10 men, and made a **** up in the last minute. It happens and I'm gutted, but we just have to keep going.
I said last night I'd have gone with Dysons team 4-5-1 pack midfield get a hold on possesion try and break on counter with shea and jennings pace and if it's going wrong introduce Proschwitz from the bench
Alright then. So were 2nd from bottom, going to a local derby, looking to sit back , whilst getting hold of possession(?) and maybe hit them on the counter. Or, show up, get stuck in, attack them. Your entitled to your opinion, though. If we did that, and it went wrong, we'd all be sitting here saying 'Wilson got it wrong, why got and sit back?'.
The Wednesday fans I talked to on the way home couldn't believe he took OG off. One other thing. Wilson should have subbed Frimpong as soon as he got booked. It was an accident waiting to happen.
Said the same. Obvious that he was never going to last the full 90. Wilson probably had it in mind to pull him at H-T. Unfortunately, the stupid tw*t couldn't make it that long.
I'd love to think we can go there and play 4-4-2 but we don't have the central midfielders to do that, I'd say Mellis lacks a good enough defensive side to his game
I'd have left COG on and taken Shea off. It's not as if COG doesn't like playing on the left is it......... However, I'm not Danny and his decision would've worked but for:- 1) Mellis penalty incident and the shocking Andre Marriner 2) Cywka corner 3) O'Brien clearance There's perhaps a fourth in Marriner's time-keeping but just add that to his long charge-sheet of inconsistencies, ineptitude and bias. Feel sorry for Ramage and Crainie who were immense and deserved a clean-sheet. Otherwise just an all too familiar numbingly predictable outcome of a visit to that s**thole of a place.
Jennings was exhausted no way could he have made it to the end he had a great game though as did Cranie Ramage mellis (yes i know boo hiss) Hunt
Yes, ultimately what cost us the game was starting with a right back who couldn't finish a game. With an issue that is apparently well known.this forced us to play JOB at right back from where he cost us the game.
