    Be a very retrograde step, given that on Sunday the new team looked like it was beginning to gel nicely. I wouldn't want to go back to slowboats.

    I wouldn't want him back either. Didn't have the fight for a league one battle a few months back. Will be on silly money that even if we get him on loan and pay a fraction of his wages it will still be alot for this division. Won't be match fit due to lack of games. Penalties last season made his goal tally look better than it is. His interview when he left as well mentioned Wednesday and completely ignored the club that gave him his best time. It's a no from me.

    personally i think the COG ship has sailed. danny couldn't get the best from him last time, so not sure how a return would make it any different. leathering the ball up to him on the wing, is no use to man nor beast.

    I agree to an extent and the interview did leave a very sour taste but I think he'd be excellent in this division so if we can agree a deal that suits us then I'd say its got to be worth a go.
