You're right. That's what I'm saying. Can't speak for anybody else, mind.

And I was being 'funny' with the last comment, hence the smiley face thing. But now you've called me a bellend I'm real upset and going to drink lots of alcohol and beat up my missus. You happy now?

*I am not going to beat up my missus. She'd knock me out with a miss. And I love her, and stuff.

in that case i agree with you, i would like to see them given a fair chance, but if they don't improve the team and live up to the expectations of some of our fans, i feel they'll be destroyed by some fans and even some of them that are calling for them to play. thats the reason i want to know exactly why people feel they should be in the team, i feel that a lot of the people wanting them in the team do so because they think they'll improve the team (thats the impression i get reading some posts anyway). but i can't understand why they think this when the coaching staff don't. and would these people be willing to just let them carry on and try to improve if they don't cut the mustard from the off because i can't see it myself.

that was my recollection as well also didn't he play quite well when Flicker had to pick him at the end of last season. The last few games I saw RNL play he was not one of our worst players so I am a bit confused as to why after flicker stated he was good enough and needed 30 games he played him in one where he played pretty well then sent him away. The others are a bit harder to judge Digby looked good but seems to be too injury prone Rose needs to grow a bit but has definitely got the goal poachers instinct I'd like to see a bit more of him to decide though

RNL has pace, something we badly lack.

We are bottom of the league, a bit goal shy and there's a few gaps at the back the midfield lacking creativity and confidence is low.

A couple of young players could spark that something special back into the team?

Thing is its a really big risk putting these young players in a team, your not just risking the teams league status, your also risking your job as a football manager, and for what ? if they don't work out your out of a job, if they do work out they fu'ck off after 30/50 games for next to nowt to play for a premier league teams reserves. wile ever the clubs run the way it is theirs no incentive for managers to risk playing the youngsters because as soon as they're worth more then a tanner a week they move on because we're not willing to pay it
