No he didn't say that.he said quote there's no reason why we can't finish top ten maybe even playoffs that's certainly what well be aiming for.
Well we ain't going to get anywhere near that position while he sticks with this formation. Sending RNL out on loan when we desperately needed wingers was a baffling decision. Having Berry and Dale as wingers would be better than this formation, still not sure what that said formation is.
I personally think we appointed Wilson at the wrong time. Seeing the season out with Mickey Mellon would have been a better option, and then appointing a new manager (Wilson or whoever) once the season ended as we were always going to go down. Wilson took over and inherited a crap squad with an abysmal record, and once you are stuck in a rut its very hard to get out of it regardless of how good a manager you are, especially in these modern times.
This isn't about today it's about performances at home in general and port vale, Chesterfield , yeovil away . One of the biggest budget in league and great team on paper but Wilson isn't making it work . Yes it's the players to blame as well but only one person going to get the chop and that's walk away Wilson. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sacking managers is so 2013. There's not been a single Premier League sacking this season so far. I'm sure West Ham and Newcastle fans in particular will be pleased that there wasn't a collective jerking of knees in their respective boardrooms.
Sheff Utd were 4th in table when sacked I believe. They then gave job to Morgan who really ****ed em up in thr playoffs.
He was sacked because he lost 6 out of 8 games towards the end of the season. Morgan couldn't do anything about that, once the rot sets in its hard to get out of it.
Who was the better man to see a team through the playoffs? The experienced Wilson or dead from the neck up galloop Morgan?
Depends how you look at it, but I'd say neither of them. Wilsons record going into the play offs were *****.
