    we averaged 0.92ppg under Danny - that over 46 games = 42points and we would still have gone down

    Its conjecture though - I doubt Danny would have started with the same squad had he been here in the summer so who knows what would have actually happened

    Isn't this about Liam Lawrence? Has he not given an interview to the Chronicle? So not sure why you're referring to Bobby Hassell (mate on the inside). You do realise Doug O'Kane - and not Matthew Murray - is the sports editor, don't you? And that Andrew Harrod is editor of the paper? Quite amusing though, reading folk getting so worked up over stories that usually have nowt to do with Murray.

    Barnsley, through many mistakes this last 12 months, have been relegated. The Barnsley Chronicle, I am struggling to find culpable I'm afraid, but crack on. It's reight funny.

    The anger aimed at that newspaper from the usual suspects borders on obsessive. Do as I do, and don't buy the ******* thing. There ends your anger.

    Bit sad really anyway, getting angered by someone reporting the news.

    Buying the chron was a religion for me......every Friday.

    Stopped about 5 years ago......waste of time.......shame, cos it once was a superb local newspaper.

    It's only because I don't live in tarn anymore that I don't read it. But to be honest, I've gathered all the news well before Friday anyway, so there's little reason to read it. And any time they have an exclusive, folk whinge. They can't win.

    You ought to see the Gazzette that Middlesbrough feature in. You think the Chron are critical?


    As I say, if folks don't like it, or it hurts their feelings, stop reading/buying the thing.
