I don't care about results (within reason) just want to see an open entertaining game where we actually try to attack occasionally. I've been to every league game and Millwall aside we have been both rubbish and lost.

To improve results you have to improve performances. If you are playing well you will win more than you lose.

Very true. Probably 9/10 good performances will see you win and 9/10 bad ones will see you lose

I thought the reaction after the Burton game was over the top but no matter how bad it was, at the end of the season when we look back at results, the points are all that count

I don't know if we are years away. Last week about 5 promising positions were broken up by Winnall being offside. Play stops and we are back to square one. Hopefully we will look better when M Smith is playing (I know not tomorrow) holding the ball up and letting our tippy tappy midfield advance up the pitch by about 15 yards. We looked a lot more threatening down the left when Harris came on.
Ryan Williams should be playing tomorrow, and will give us lots of midfield energy. Davies needs to release the ball earlier.
Hopefully an agglomeration of small corrections all over the pitch can have a big effect.

I'd say years away is closer to the truth than just a few minor adjustments. Just an opinion like.

    I agree with this.

For the first time in a long time, I look at every position and there isn't a single player who I'd say isn't up to playing in at least a top 8 league 1 team (Jury is out on Wilkinson and I haven't seen enough of Rothwell). We've got a fantastic set of players, the issue is now finding a balance that suits them all, plays to each ones strengths and allows us to play round pegs in round holes.

Seemingly we need a 3 man midfield to suit Hourihane, Pearson and Crowley. This then makes us narrower meaning we'd struggle to accommodate Williams, Harris and potentially Watkins. This of course is unless we go with 1 up front, which seemingly doesn't suit any of our strikers (although Smith has the attributes for this, he openly stated he doesn't like playing that role). So ideally we need 2 strikers.

We've then of course got 3 quality centre half's; the captain Mawson, the surprisingly impressive Roberts, and the only scratch of experience we have in our team in Nyatanga. Fitting these 3 in doesn't allow us to play more than one out and out full back, such as Smith or Bree, but allows us to play wing backs, of which I'd only be comfortable in naming Wabara. Seemingly we're a wing back short of this formation also (Maybe Brad Smith?).

There's certainly cause for concern over the performances, but admittedly Johnson believes he is unsure of his best team, understandable considering many haven't been able to feature for one reason or the other, and others have looked good despite the team as a whole not performing particularly well.

One thing for sure is, Josh Scowen can do anything.
