    Solid 9/10 for me.

Only sold Brown who we wanted to keep and we allegedly offered to double his wages. I’m not sure the Ludewig situation could’ve been helped.

    Got rid of some deadwood.

Signed some young, exciting players for the future (as always).

Signed some players with experience of the division and/or English football.

Got some good players to extend their contracts too.

I would’ve maybe liked to have had a replacement in for Brown. Someone who can win headers and stretch the opposition’s defence but apart from that, I think we should all be pretty happy.

    6. We are 4 games into the season and now have to bed players into our side.

4 by any standards but if we are judging by the standards of our recent Windows - 147/10.

I'm going with an 8 rising to a possible 9 if we get Mowatt's contract sorted.

I'd go for a 6.5/10. Bearing in mind we were at a 2 or a 3 before today, wev pulled it back somewhat. A left back and striker would have took it into the 9's tho. In mY oPinIon oF cOurSe.

I think this could be the best transfer window in the club's history......

You can quote me on that.

    7¾/10 from me.
We still need a recognised No.9, but can't complain about much else and with a change in approach, some of what we have could well surprise us with some long overdue goals, so much better than expected.

7/10 A left back and Moores replacement would have pushed it towards 10/10

If it's done a 3. We needed a left back, at least one striker and a midfield player. We didn't get two of those three.

We could be fine, just pointing out that once again heading into a season that's already started with new players that could take time to settle is nothing new.

    9/10 for midfield, 3/10 elsewhere

I was mighty annoyed at the selling of Brown for 2m plus, but getting Kane for half that on a 4 year deal looks a great bit of business. Very happy to see Matty James back assuming he is fit enough to play but assume we are not picking much up in terms of his wages.

Really pleased Woodrow extended. That was a major bonus. Get him up front now and I agree Schmidt should get a chance and we might not need a striker. Still wonder who can win the ball in the air upfront - there is no one to hold the ball up.

So, all in all, very good.

    8/10.

And even then, we're stuck with the kind of system we can play as we have no width, but the manager who didn't play with wingers has gone.

To be fair with the pandemic this has been a totally different close season & a totally different transfer window, players have always moved about during the season & come January it will be rinse & repeat but eventually they come up to speed, it's a long season
