I think you misunderstand the purpose of this board

This board is for people to state their opinion. It's just like a pub. If you don't like the way people state their opinion you can either choose not to talk to them, or get into an arguement.

You'll never get anyone on here to stop speaking their opnions. Take the piss out of them, or maybe have a spat with them, but you're on a no hoper with telling people to shut up.

Your idea of people taking stuff to the club is a nice one, but it's been done before (not to this set of owners granted) by this board and frankly the response has always been dull and a lot of the ideas are impractial. Any of the ideas that get noted as any good don't get followed up on.

The thing that puzzles me most though is this.

I have read on here several times that Gordon is happy to explain the club position on an individual basis to people.

I also keep reading on here about the lack of news on the official site

maybe 2 birds could be killed with one stone and instead of meeting Mr Windy et al on a 1 to 1 basis an article on the club website explaining how we plan to avoid sliding into the bottom 3.

Oh and its all well and good to say there is money availlable - but without mentioning the amount its a bit meaningless. I have some money availlable Andy can use - but I am not sure he can do much with my spare tenner

but the problem with saying how much money is available, agents et al, know how much to gun for, it weakens your negotiating position massively.

the other difficulty i see, i can quite accept that richie thinks that the current players he's got can't be replaced with any better on the sums available. ;ets say for example, 150k is available per player for 2 or 3 players, plus wages of course, richie holds, obviously, his own players in high regard, he looks around, see's some other players for that sort of money... but hey, he doesnt think they are any better than his own.

thats a managerial decision, and i think richie is fully entitled to make it, but lets be honest, we dont all accept or agree with the managers opinion, in any club that we may support, why does richie keep brinign tommy on, i cant tell, i think he's a good lad, but i dont think he's good enough... but AR does...

so, are there players out there that may be better than our current crop in the budget that AR may be offered, yes, does richie think so, maybe not. a managerial decision. i have no doubt players worth 150k could do a job for us (even on a rotation basis as our younguns get tired), are knocking around.

yes of course, if the budget was far higher, say 500k per player, for 2 or 3 players, then we could get a better standard in, but the money simply isnt available it seems to me.

finally, the load player from man u, i can see both sides, how can BFC guarantee weekly 1st team fottball for a man u reserves, week in week out, i dont think they can, especially when they havent had the chance to judge, but, by the same token, why would man u want one of their reserves playing in our reserve team, when the lad could eb playing for theirs. there will always be that tension, i guess the question is, does Ar rate the player highly enough to make that promise. if the answer is no, then he cant.

I fail to see how a Man U loan reserve player cant improve it or a 150 grand player or two for that matter.</p>

Our position in the table is the litmus test of the adequacy of the current squad, not the opinion of AR or anyone else for that matter. </p>
