    RE: assuming VF

    Post code is S75 3HZ.

I'm on Vodafone now but I'm not sure I would stick with them it would depend on price really. Thanks for your help but don't spend too much time on it on my account.

No matter which operator you wont get good mobile broadband there and probably never will. Top whack with vf is likely to be a 256 kbs bearer and probably not even that with most others having a quick check on a map

    Many Thanks

Cheers for looking into it that appears to be that as far as mobile broadband is concerned unless things improve.

One reason for looking into it is to be able to provide internet at our cricket club which doesn't have a telephone connection, and satellite is too expensive.

    Yes kind of figured that

What we could do with is for a network to build a mast on our ground, pay us rent and give us a free internet connection at the same time. Now that would be a good deal.

via telephone line any one living in tarn can expect to get increased speeds from September when the exchange gets upgraded, but if you live in the area supplied by hoyland exchange you will have to wait, live in pilley and get just over 1/2 mega info curtacy of bt engineer.via cable --another story no cable in pilley.
