First half they were covered by mellis and Dawson who were out of position.

Kennedy was very poor he's not up to plying in a four. He's ok as a left part of a three.

Perks had his moments too. Final two goals stemmed from him giving the ball away. Seems to me that the same players that cost Hill his job are going to do the same for Flitcroft.

What about 5th goal what was Wiseman doing for that? Nothing he watched him all way came across in front of him and stopped to let him past

I'm attempting to put to rest

this myth that Wiseman has morphed into a decent defender, like a few people seem to think, that's all. He'll be the first, the very first casualty under any new manager, so what does that tell you. If you analyse in the cold light of day the goals we've conceded today, Wiseman will be a contributing factor to 4 out of 5. Its honestly not a witch hunt and if Flitcroft wants to save his job he should look at the ipad and admit, misplaced loyalty, he's just not good enough.

Perkins angrily gesticulated and gestured for 70 yards that he had Anya covered and that Wiseman should go mark Deeney. Perkins wouldn't have got to Anya if Anya was still running now.

He got no cover from Dawson what-so-ever who simply doesn't know how to play wide midfield. In the second half O'Brien nullified their threat down the left and offered 10 times more going forward. Which begs the question why, when playing 4-4-2 first half, didn't we start with O'Brien on the right wing? I can't answer that question because I don't think there is an answer that makes any sense.

I thought the entire back four were gash, but Kennedy the worst of a gash bunch.
Etuhu and Perkins did not offer owt either defensively or up top. Again.
Dawson looked like Gary Jones circa 2002.
Mellis was wasted out wide but did little of note.
Steele kept the score down. Jason and COG were decent.
Reuben was quality, Jim did ok, and McCourt is an average one trïck pony that looked shagged after 10 minutes.
    .
I enjoyed today, as you can tell.

Did you see Steele bollocking him about that. He set off to go across, he then dithered and went again but it was too late.
Most of the team were crap today though.

cannot play full back done on the outside again, after being booed off at the Blackburn game last year thought this had been learnt. Time to start picking players not mates , Kennedy another flop, ball watching for their second cannot tackle or head a ball Rochdale rubbish still mates eh

I had no strong views on him before today, but he was awful today, for the 3rd, he wouldn't commit to the winger as he was afraid of being beaten, so just let him run to and then cross from the bye line. He'd been awful all first half and a waste of a shirt. No idea what the thinking was.
I still think the main problem today was the reluctance of the midfield to get up into the oppositions penalty area when we were on the attack, helping every attack break up in the first half, bar the goal. Huge spaces between midfield and attack. We did exactly the same whilst capitulating to Charlton.

I'd urge people to watch the 5th goal again and watch Perkins aggressively screaming at Wiseman NOT to come across to Anya and to stay in the middle. Capped off a truly dreadful Perkins performance.

Re: I singled him out because

On this occasion, you're mainly wrong. Wiseman didn't force the winger anywhere, he stood off and off, then let him do what he wanted. But you are right in so much as there were certainly other offenders today too, such as Perkins for the last goal (at least he chases his mistakes).

Yep, that certainly happened too, I thought it was very odd when I saw it, especially as Perkins (whom I like) was making absolutely no ground on the advancing forward at the time. I suspect he was more worried about both of the remaining defenders coming across and leaving the back attacker unguarded, all it seemed to do is cause confusion though.

No,let's pick on wiseman cos he's not good enough a fact that most people on here have been saying since day one, he along with others such as Kennedy and Dawson aren't good enough and over the length of time
They've been here they have consistently proved it. A handful of games between them performing well doesn't change the fact.

I suspect he was selfishly trying to atone for his own error at the expense of common sense.

Perhaps you could advise who in our team actually is good enough?

Tell me first who the others are that aren't good enough and then I can work it out
