    I think what made the Wembley defeat that much worse for me was i'd spent the last 10 minutes emotionally preparing myself for the torture of penalties and i'd even looked up at the clock and said to the other half that the game is over and it's going to pens.

    Then the goal happened and i was just numb.

    Yeah awful. To be fair….as the other poster rightly says….we have now experienced defeat in the very worst circumstances!!
