RE: Also players coach windows been bricked in. Southampton should be fined & docked points by the FA, and whoever did the stabbing should be beaten to death with a blunt instrument.
(

I was there the last time we won at Southampton 22 years ago in an FA Cup tie on a Monday night. There were 12 of us on a minibus parked up a side street about a mile from the old Dell. We were offered no protection whatsoever by the local constabulary. Pretty scary at the time I can tell you. Things have obviously not changed very much !!
Maybe the coach companies should sue the police. Then all the passengers can chuck in trauma claims as well.
3 of us arrived back at our minibus before the driver or anybody else and we had to hide in bushes in front garden of a large posh semi to avoid a 20 or so strong mob who seeking out Reds fans. Luckily are bus had no markings on. We escaped unscathed after a great night!!
Ready for them? I hope you don't mean sinking to their level, giving us a bad name and getting the club fined and docked points. If so, I think there is some small errors in your plan.
Different version from the guy with the crutch LOL goes to show how you can witness something and take it out of context. The game had 4 minutes left to play and a female Barnsley fan of around 75-80 years old wanted to get on the coach and was having to use the wall to support herself, she said she could not wake the driver as he was sound asleep in the second row of the coach, so I tapped 3 times on the windscreen with the rubber butt of my crutch and he woke up and opened the door for her. I was with my wife and 2 small daughters so hardly "up for it".

Last edited by oldgreysaint : Yesterday at 06:36 PM.

http://www.thesaintsforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=25750

This is Balax cazi love, i dont think the fact that a bloke had two kids with him, cos me and NAR both saw this man with about a 7 year old daughter, screaming at the barnsley fans, 'COME ON THEN YOU NORTHEN *******!' so this was a great example to show her daughter. We also hada bottle chucked at us at the macth, just before half time, so i went up to one of the stewards and they said, 'If you can tell us who did it then we will kick them out, as we would with the reds fans, but if not then nothing can be done. I didnt see who threw it, but maybe i should have throw the full bottle of coke back, and tryed not to be seen. Southern ***** the lot of em.
Here's Some Quotes From The Saints Board For Those Too Idle To Sign Up Haha...... There's two quotes from the board incase you were too lazy to sign up lol............ And.......... Yesterday, 08:40 PM hammy_1 Registered User Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: SHIRLEY Posts: 148 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am sorry but Delldays is wrong, they are not fans they are moronic idiots, It was started yet again by the litlle chavs that think they are hard as nails, they were throwing bottles and lashing out with some guys cruthches!!!. Then the the away fans retaleated and all hell broke loose, I was walking past weith my 5yr old daughter and got caught in it, she was just missed by bottles (going one way) and then we were knocked in to and she was pushed to the floor and trampled on. If you want to call these thugs fans then you are as thick as them. They deserve to be named and shamed and banned from all games. I am not saying the away fans were innocent but the few that were near me at least backed away and held people back as I tried to get my daughter up and out of the way. The policing of this was a complete travisty, 1 copper at the end of the road and nothing else, then it took them 10-15 mins for the first car to turn up and then another 5 mins later for the van. This is pathetic to say the very least, the stewards were no better, they pushed the trouble makers from the stadium grounds out on to the roads and then stood there as a barrier so they could not get back on. Out of sight out of mind.... I can handle losing but then to have to witness that is terrible and yet another imbarresment to the club. Then you have a guy who was watching something different to his fellow Saints fans.......... Today, 09:30 AM zeppelinsaints Registered User Join Date: Jun 2007 Posts: 1 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Right lets get some truth on here, after the game, one of the barnsley coaches, full of nutters in designer gear were hitting out at anyone, woman kids etc, one saints fan in his 50`s was knocked unconscious. once the police arrived (more on that in a mo)calm was restored and an ambulance took the chap away, he was in a bad state. the barnsley coaches were kept at st.marys for over an hr before being taken to central police station, all windows were in tact and no barnsley fan was stabbed, all the trouble was instigated by barnsley fans!!!! right on to the police, when they eventually arrived i asked one of them not very politely where the fook they had been when innocent saints fans were being battered, the reply astounded me, "the club deemed it a low category game and would not pay policing costs". SHAME ON YOU SFC, people pay a lot of money to go to football, the club pay players in excess of 10k a wk, but the club are to tight fisted to protect the safety of fans, believe me i will be taking this up with the club. to the decent barnsley fans, well played, no problem with you winning, unfortunately, decent barnsley fans are a small minority.
