I think it reflects where the club and the player are both at. The club probably can’t commit to too many longer term deals, particularly for a player that’s only played a dozen first team games for us and had problems with injury in the past. While the player probably happy to commit now, because he probably won’t be awash with offers for the reasons mentioned above. But knows a good season will give him options. It’s a deal that makes sense for all parties imo.
Have a word wi thissen mate. Only person I know that can turn everything positive into a negative. You are so wide of the mark. It's pointless having a debate. If I was Gally I'd steer clear of feeding anything back. On that note........
The meeting was scheduled for 7pm until 9pm. We got the confirmation from the EFL that the deal was ratified at just before 8pm. Our colleague, who was at home whilst we were still at Oakwell was going to release the news online at 9pm. But Gally asked about out of contract players, specifically Wolfey and Khaled chose to break the news about 15 mins earlier, at 8.45pm. The forum didn’t finish until around 10.30pm. Thank you to all who attended. I hope you got something out of it. Lovely to see certain people off the bbs, such as @Redhelen and @Hooky feller.
