they haven't even explicitly said she bought the petrol in the jerry can over the last few days, very probable she hadn't. As others have said it's tragic that she will now be scarred for life and for that I feel sorry for her, and yes indeed who hasn't done something stupid they later regretted but pouring petrol from a jerry can into an open jug near a lit gas hob??? Inexplicable moment of madness or is it just because a lot of people are so sanitized to petrol, they never actually see it going into their cars and probably don't use it in a mower or something that they forget just why it is used in an internal COMBUSTION engine ie little spark big bang?
