    He said last week that any player they loan he expects to play anyway.

    Ryan Kent doesn't come here not to play. He wants to play at Liverpool and how he does that will be do well at Barnsley.

    Just done some reading and it seems it's a thing and they will stick to it.

    Wigan ended up not loaning Brannagan because of this very issue.

    I think Blackett would be a great addition and probably the only one within our range.

    Due to the new rules over loaning players i feel the club will not got down the same road as the start of last season with a scattergun approach to getting loanees in.

    I believe Hecky will want the vast majority of his squad to be permanent signings.

    Would be perfect for Barnsley. Centre back decent on the ball.
    Been on loan in the champ before and celtic last season. He was the one that got me to make the post.

    I've not read the article, but I'd be surprised if they were to get rid of Fosu-Mensah. Looks a good talent.

    Wilson and McNair are pretty promising too

    Right age, right size, left footed, good experience. He was told a couple of weeks ago he could leave I believe.

    The article is based on the fact that those particular players were not included in training today however if the journalist had bothered to do his research he would have discovered that Mensah and Jackson are both injured.

    McNair is an international who recently played at the Euro's, I doubt very much he would be loaned out to one of the smaller championship clubs. Same with Perraira.

    Winnall would keep Keane and Wilson out of the team.
